What is HF welding? Plain-language explainer

HF welding (high-frequency heat sealing): a machine emits a high-frequency electromagnetic field (typically 27.12 MHz) that heats the foam from within and presses it against a mold — welding and cutting in one stroke. The edge of every sticker on the sheet is heat-sealed and cut simultaneously. Cold die cutting just severs, leaving fuzzy layered edges; HF welding seals them — smooth, safe, no shredding, a must for kids' products.

Who places HF welding job orders?

Two main types: ①printers — they buy foam rolls, print their own art, and return for mold + HF welding (our core B-line clients) ②sticker traders/brands — order volume without their own lines, outsourcing processing. Common jobs: 2/4/8-up sheets, custom shapes, 3D molded stickers. Send printed material or artwork; we handle mold, pressing, and weeding.

What materials can be welded?

HF welding works on polar materials: PVC and EVA foams weld well; PE and PP (non-polar) barely melt and need special treatment. This is our moat — we make our own rolls, so we know which material welds and how to tune the machine. For job orders, we test your material first so you don't waste money on tooling that can't weld.
